In response to my husband’s blog below, I think as long as we don’t eat like that every night or every week, and exercise it off the next day, we will be fine. We can’t completely take away all of our pleasures in food. It would lead to a crash and burn. We’re foodies, we like to eat really good food, with really good friends. As long as we don’t overindulge and keep exercising we will still reach our goals in losing our weight.

I also only ate half of the lamb, half of the bacon, and half of the dessert. We laughed with our friends, drank about a glass of wine, and ate some damn good food! I had a great time. Thanks for a fun night Love!
I think your half size portion is a really good idea, especially with Kyle's job. The longer you go on with it, the easier it will be. Keep up the good work!
